Complaint/Grievance Policy
At The Institute for Corporate Coaching, we are committed to providing a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all of our students. We believe that feedback is essential for continuous improvement, and we take any concerns or grievances seriously. This policy outlines the steps students can take if they have a complaint or grievance related to their experience with our programs.
Policy Overview
We understand that from time to time, students may have concerns or issues that need to be addressed. Our goal is to resolve all complaints and grievances in a fair, transparent, and timely manner. We encourage students to raise their concerns directly with us so that we can address them as quickly as possible.
Types of Complaints and Grievances
This policy covers complaints or grievances related to, but not limited to:
- Course content, delivery, or instructional quality
- Issues related to faculty or coaching staff
- Administrative or procedural concerns (e.g., scheduling, communications, etc.)
- Discriminatory behavior, harassment, or any form of misconduct
- Issues related to the learning environment (e.g., accessibility, facilities, etc.)
- Problems with program materials or technology
Step-by-Step Process for Filing a Complaint or Grievance
Step 1: Informal Resolution
- We encourage students to address their concerns informally first. If you experience any issues, please reach out directly to the program director or relevant staff member. This may be done via email, phone, or through a scheduled meeting. We are committed to resolving issues quickly and collaboratively.
- We recommend that you clearly describe the issue, including any relevant details, and communicate the desired outcome or resolution you seek.
Step 2: Formal Complaint Submission
- Your full name and contact information
- A clear description of the issue or grievance
- Any steps you have already taken to resolve the issue
- The desired resolution or outcome
- If the informal resolution process does not lead to a satisfactory outcome, students may file a formal complaint within 30 days. To do so, please submit a written complaint to our administrative team at [contact email], providing the following information:
- You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt within 3 business days of submission. Once received, it will be reviewed we aim to resolve all complaints within 10 business days.
Confidentiality and Non-Retaliation
We take confidentiality seriously. All complaints and grievances will be handled confidentially to the extent possible. The identities of those involved in the complaint process will not be disclosed without consent, unless required for the resolution of the grievance.
Retaliation against any student for filing a complaint or grievance is strictly prohibited. If you feel that you have been retaliated against in any way for raising a concern, please report it immediately to the Institute’s leadership team for further investigation.

Enrollment Policy
At The Institute for Corporate Coaching, we prioritize providing an exceptional learning experience for each of our students. The enrollment process ensures that we are a good fit for your professional goals and that you are ready to embark on your coaching journey.
Enrollment Process:
- Initial Consultation: The first step in the enrollment process is to schedule a live 1:1 Zoom session with one of our team members. This session allows us to get to know you better, answer any questions you have about the program, and discuss your professional goals.
- Submit Application: After your consultation, you will be asked to submit an application form. This form helps us understand your background and commitment to the coaching process. The application is essential in determining your eligibility for enrollment in the program.
- Acceptance & Confirmation: Once your application is reviewed and accepted, you will receive an official offer to enroll. Enrollment requires confirmation of payment for the program.
Tuition Payment:
To secure your place in the program, payment must be confirmed before you can officially enroll. Payment options and detailed instructions will be provided upon your acceptance into the program.
Certification Policy
To achieve certification from The Institute for Corporate Coaching, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Complete Required Hours: Participants must complete all hours as specified in the certification guidelines for the program. This includes both live training sessions, mentor coaching and any additional hours specified for certification.
- Attendance Requirements: You are required to attend all live sessions. You are permitted to miss up to two classes without an illness or injury; however, any missed sessions will require you to make up the content to stay on track with your certification process. - Performance Evaluation: Participants must pass a performance evaluation that will assess your coaching competency, knowledge, and application of the material taught during the program.
- 50 hours of coaching experience
- Homework Assignments: All homework assignments must be completed and submitted as required throughout the program. These assignments are essential for demonstrating understanding and ability to apply emotional intelligence coaching techniques effectively.
Upon successful completion of the program, performance evaluation, and assignment submission, you will be awarded certification as a corporate coach from The Institute for Corporate Coaching.
Partial Completion Policy
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer credit for partial completion of a course. In order to receive credit, you must complete the entire course to receive credit. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact:

Tuition Payment
To secure your place in the program, payment must be confirmed before you can officially enroll. Payment options and detailed instructions will be provided upon your acceptance into the program.
Cancellation, Refund, & Transfer Policy
We understand that life circumstances can change unexpectedly, and we strive to be as flexible as possible while maintaining the integrity of our training process and supporting the participants who are ready to attend. Below is our cancellation and refund policy.
Cancellation Policy:
- More than 30 Days Before the Event: If you cancel more than 30 days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund, minus a $200 non-refundable enrollment fee.
- 14 Days or Less Before the Event: If you cancel 14 days or fewer before the start of the event, a cancellation fee of 50% of the enrollment fee will be charged.
- After the Event Begins: Once the event has started, no refunds will be provided.
Transfer Policy:
- Transfer to a Future Event: If you need to transfer your seat to the next available training session, please contact our administrative staff for approval. A transfer fee of $200 will apply. The transfer can be made to the next intensive within one year of your original registration date.
- Expiration of Registration: If you are unable to attend any future training within one year from the date of your original registration, your registration will expire, and no refund will be issued. We offer two training sessions annually, and we strongly recommend securing your seat for a future session if your plans change.
We aim to create an environment where all participants have a fair opportunity to join our exclusive training, which is why timely cancellations and transfers are essential for maintaining our small class sizes.

Illness policy
Illness Policy
At The Institute for Corporate Coaching, we understand that unforeseen circumstances, including illness, can arise and impact your ability to attend scheduled classes. Our goal is to support your learning journey while ensuring that all students receive the full benefit of the program. The following illness policy outlines how we handle missed classes due to illness, as well as the steps to take if you are unable to attend due to health-related reasons.
Policy Overview:
- Notification of Illness:
If you are unable to attend a class due to illness, it is important that you notify our administrative team as soon as possible. You can do this via email or phone. - Missed Classes Due to Illness:
We recognize that health issues may occasionally prevent attendance, and we are committed to helping you stay on track with the program. You are allowed to miss up to two classes due to illness without penalty. For any missed class, we will work with you to provide options for making up the missed content, including: - Access to Recorded Sessions: You will be granted access to the recordings of the missed class(es), allowing you to catch up on the material at your own pace.
- Make-Up Assignments: In certain cases, additional assignments or exercises may be required to demonstrate mastery of the content you missed.
- Make-Up Sessions:
If you miss more than five classes, you will have the option to make up the required sessions at your own expense or enroll in the next cohort. If you miss any of the mentor coaching sessions, you will be required to make up these sessions on your own and at your own expense.
Certification Requirements:
To maintain eligibility for certification, you must complete all course content and miss no more than 5 live sessions and complete all mentor coaching. Any missed content must be reviewed and completed through make-up sessions, recordings, or assignments.
