Meet Dr. Yvette McQueen

Dr. Yvette McQueen is a global physician, educator, and wellness advocate dedicated to enhancing health, travel wellness, and disease prevention. As an Emergency Medicine Physician and Travel Concierge Doctor, she brings over two decades of medical expertise to leaders, professionals, and organizations worldwide.

Dr. McQueen earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at St. John Medical Center in Detroit, MI. Her career spans teaching at academic centers, serving in community hospital emergency departments, and providing urgent care services. Currently, she practices as a Locum Tenens physician in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care, holding active medical licenses in multiple U.S. states and internationally in Malawi, East Africa.

A dynamic leader, Dr. McQueen has served on the Boards of the College of Urgent Care Medicine, the Duval County Medical Society, and the Wellness Tourism Association. She is also an accomplished international medical consultant, author, and speaker, with a passion for educating others on achieving optimal wellness.

As a 4x bestselling author and Executive Producer of the award-winning travel show Fly Brother on PBS, Dr. McQueen uses storytelling to inspire and educate. Her experience spans traveling to over 50 countries, organizing international medical missions in Africa, and facilitating hospital training in Rwanda and Tanzania.

Dedicated to supporting leaders in achieving balance and resilience, Dr. McQueen plans wellness retreats, Continuing Medical Education (CME) events, and transformative adventure experiences.
